I'd go back to the 1980's. the music was a lot better than what's out now, and mtv actually showed music videos. Not really sure who I'd take with me. I wouldn't want to stay there though.

Sadly, I'm not dressing up this year. We've had a lot going on these past few months, so we're not going to have our usual Halloween party. Instead, we're just having some friends over and giving out candy to the kids. Maybe if I have time I can post some pictures of what I dressed up as in the past.

Sorry people, but social networking won't solve everything.
Two girls use facebook to get help instead of dialing emergency services. How can this be? I still remember the days when calling 911 was practically drilled into our heads as children. I can't imagine that this has changed since then. So how do you get into the mindset of updating your facebook status for help, rather than calling the cops? I love facebook as much as the next person, but this is ridiculous.

So long, Guiding Light.
You know what I can't stand? People who get bent out of shape when you don't reply to their messages the millisecond you receive them. And then they wonder why nobody wants to talk to them? Come on. This isn't rocket science.
I just found out that Guiding Light is going off the air. Today is the final episode. It's so weird. That show was on so long I never thought they'd cancel it. That was one of the few soap operas I could actually stand to watch. I was a huge fan of it back in 5th grade.

Of course not. You can't just put your life on hold like that. I might be extra careful, but I'd still leave the house. Besides, most of those online psychics are full of crap anyway.
As for the astrological sign, if you click with the other person, then there's no reason not to date them.

Anyway, if any of you did see it, how was it? It comes on the CW, so I'm preying that it's not like Roswell, with Vampires instead of Aliens. Sorry if I offended any Roswell fans, but that show always seemed like a scifi version of Dawson's Creek.

[Link] | Feeling kinda down. Maybe it's the weather, or maybe it's just everything. Who knows?
Didn't go to the movies today. Might go tomorrow, but we'll see. It's storming pretty bad here on account of hurricane Bill. Hopefully the storm will dissipate soon.
Yesterday I bought this app called 1001 ringtones. Basically, it's an app that you can get different ringtones from. They've also got text alert messages, and I think they've even got voicemail greetings as well. Anyway, once you select what you want, it just emails it to you and then you just install the ringtone on your iPhone. I usually don't get apps from the app store unless they're free. I mean, it would suck to pay for an app, and then find out that it wasn't worth the money and/or isn't accessible with voiceover. Fortunately, I already knew it was accessible, and it only cost $.99. I'm really glad I got it. All The sound quality of the ringtones is pretty good, and it beats having to buy the ringtones from iTunes. I know there's a feature in iTunes that will let you create ringtones, but it can only be done with songs that were purchased from the iTunes store. How messed up is that?

[Link] | So, a friend of ours had to have surgery on her foot yesterday. It's going to take about three weeks for it to heal completely, so she's going to be staying with us until then. She's been using crutches to get around, but she's getting a wheel chair later today. This is so she won't have to put any weight on her foot.
In other news, a bunch of us are going to see Inglorious Bastards tomorrow morning. Looks really funny. Let's hope it turns out to be as good as everybody says it is. As for the rest of the weekend, I'm not sure what I'll be doing.

[Link] | Hey everyone, hope you've all been well. Haven't been around very much. Sorry about that.
Anyway, this weekend has been pretty hectic. On Friday night, we had a party for Bethany. It was her graduation/birthday party all in one. She invited a bunch of people, (I think it was about 20 people) and only three showed up. Even some of the people we invited backed out. It didn't turn out to be the fun party Bethany was expecting. Pretty sad.
Nevertheless, we managed to have a pretty good time. The liquor flowed, and all was well. Oh by the way, I tried a hookah for the first time. Pretty cool actually. Should really check out the hookah lounge here in town.
Last night, Art and Frank came over to watch the UFC fight. I'm pretty tired, and don't plan on doing much today.
In other news, I've been having tons of fun with my iphone. I got it two weeks ago. I commend Apple for putting voiceover on the iphone. I'm still a bit slow when it comes to texting, but I'm a lot faster than I was when I first got it.
